The objective of this project was to create a bottle design in collaboration with my design course and Stranger & Stranger. After deliberation, absinthe and the Pernod brand were the springboard. Absinthe has a history of fear and paranoia as it is believed that Absinthe is a hallucinogen that earned the infamous name, The Green Fairy, but in fact is just a very strong green alcohol. This particular design follows the early 20th Century tragedy of Jean Lanfray which informs the choice of the less common blood-red absinthe.
